I recently had the extreme pleasure of shoot with a local photographer who goes by MediaKAB, and whilst doing so I got to wear one of my accidental favorite dresses. I bought this dress to sell in my etsy shop, but when I washed it ... magically, half of it shrunk? So I kept it as it was un-sellable, and it became one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. It's a simple cotton 1950s dress in my favorite color scheme, and I love it. I am so happy I got to shoot photos in it!

Blue Days
It is nearly always gray, blue, or raining where I live. By blue, I don't mean the bright sunny sky blue either. I mean the hazy blue that foreshadows the dark gray afternoon sky creeping around the corner.
Yesterday was one of those days, and I felt compelled to battle it with my favorite house dress and cozy bamboo stockings. I added a light blue cardigan to feel cozy in my drafty old house. My hair is in a semi-decent faux bangs paired with matching victory rolls (of the same size!)
Sorry for the short post today, I am about to head off to have my teeth out. I am incredible nervous about getting teeth pulled. I have never done it before. Wish me luck if you will! I probably wont be around much this weekend, as I will be recovering. See you all on Monday.

Panic at the Disco, er, I mean wedding!
Tim's cousin is getting married in just over a week. Which, would not normally be that big of a deal, except I *just* found out, that the wedding is at this grand Victorian mansion, and there is to be formal dining and dancing afterward. Yes my friends, its to be a black tie sort of event.
I do not, repeat, do not own anything even remotely appropriate for such an affair.
I have spent the day on Ebay(EW!) hoping to catch a decent deal on a 30s style dress to wear ( so I can wear my lovely topper...) I did find one dress, a 30s black cocktail dress, but alas it was about 6" to big in the bust region.
I wish there was some miracle that would make a really inexpensive formal dress land in my lap.
I am sort of hunting for this silhouette:
