In the Jailhouse Now

This weekend I got to see a very fantabulous production of O Brother Where Art Thou? The
show was put on the by the Space Art Collective of Vancouver, WA and was entirely made up of marionette puppets. The soundtrack was played entirely by a live band in the loft of the building. The whole showing was hilarious, and the actors were quite quick with their improvisational wit.

I am sad to say the show has finished its run, but look forward to the next show they choose to adapt to puppetry.






I forgot all about taking my outfit picture that night, so this is the only image I have of me. Jesse took a picture of me trying not to fall to my death in the loft/catwalk area where the puppeteers did their magic.

I got this short video of the band playing so you can hear how amazing it was. The men and women who performed the soundtrack were truly amazing, and it was a night well spent. Glad I can say I got to see it!

Antique Expo is in Town

Honestly, what is better than the circus coming to town?? The PDX Antique Expo! Well, really I don't think I would attend a circus anyway, but still, share in my excitement as we head into Expo Weekend. Put on by Palmer Wirfs, this expo is massive, exhaustive, and a total blast! I hope to come away with lots of goodies, and even more pictures to share with you all.
If any of you lovely readers happen to be in portland town this weekend, you should hit up the Expo and make sure to say HI! if you see me. I am excited to run into Anne of Lulu's Vintage again, she always has lovely items for sale in her booth. Oh I am getting giddy just typing about it!

In addition to this excitement, I also received some more images from me "retro" shoot in my kitchen! I love the colors (or lack of) in all these pictures. I am really happy with how cool my kitchen is looking.
