Chorizo

After my outing last week, I was basically put on bed rest by my midwife for doing to much. I didn't leave the house for about 5 days straight. If you are a a work-a-holic busy body like me, you know this is complete HELL. This weekend I decided to throw caution at the wind, and head out to the city for breakfast. We popped into J&M Cafe again, because honestly the breakfast is so amazing. Inside Tip: If you are ever in portland, or eating at the J&M, order the Chorizo Scramble, is 100% legit foodstuffs. Twila Jean Approved. After enjoying breakfast with a baby snugly asleep next to my chair, we headed back to Philip's place of residence / art gallery to work on some prints. Toma has recently acquired some heavy duty printing equipment, and is offering up print services to local area artists. And like a true dummy, I opened my mouth about opening a print shop... so, it appears we are on the hunt for actual retail space. I am sure Philip will be please to have his living space back at the very least.

My dress is a modern repro by some random catalog brand like Coldwater Creek or something, I have no clue I got it at good will for $4.00 and thought it had a great 30s appeal to it.
My lovely red shoes, are by the one and only Bordello. They were a Christmas gift from Toma, who knows if all else fails, buy me Bordello's.

You are just amazing after just having your sweet baby Olive & look fantastic all dolled up in your retro inspired (and thrifted yey) dress... and those shoes. Forced rest isn't fun, but glad you did it and took care of you (as a Mom to 4 that is the best advice I can give... a healthy Mommy is very important). Going to google those shoes!
