I seldom remember to do a "daily outfit" style post... sorry friends I am a busy vintage woman!
Yesterday I was feeling quite peppy, and hot, as it was about 10 degrees warmer than forecast.
I bought a new white crinoline to go under my full skirts. So armed with sass and frass, I left my house ready to rule the world.

Skirt: Vintage 50s Evan Picone from Urban Eccentric
Top: Modern, Banana Republic
Shoes: Modern bought by Husband.
If you do not have a poofy underskirt a.k.a. the crinoline or petticoat, you are surely missing out on fun and fancy-ness. So, to make the hunt easier for you I though I would include a few places to get one.
If you want to go all out authentic (recommended!) you can stop by Heavenly Vintage Lingerie and pick up this darling 50s crinoline for $30.00!
For a modern touch and something much more readily available in any size, stop by Baby Girl Boutique for several lengths and colors for $30.00 also. (beware, often out of stock, so buy when you see it!)
I also saw some modern mid-length crinolines over here on Amazon.com for somewhere near $28.00, which also come in several hues.
There you have it, a lovely dose of poof-poofery.

Girl ,you are dripping in fabulousness! I love crinnies!
And your husband bought those shoes?
Hello keeper!
I love the shoes!
absolutely FABULOUS darling!!!!!!!!!!
I love it! The outfit is fabulous and the crinoline is the perfect touch. I have been on the hunt for a good crinoline for a while, and you've re-inspired me to keep looking! (I actually own one, but it is a little too poofy for everyday practicality...it only comes out for special occasions!)
I know all the talk is about your outfit but all I can see is your wonderful hair day! It looks amazing. The outfit is amazing as well- especially the shoes! I don't think my husband has EVER even THOUGHT about buying me a pair of shoes. Good for you!
1. You look fab - especially love your shoes!
2. I've just recently bought a darling pink petticoat and, oh my, it's so much fun! I feel like a princess whenever I wear it.

I just found your blog, and I have some serious wardrobe envy! :)
I recently fell in love with vintage circle skirts, and I want to buy a crinoline to poof them out -- how long should the crinoline be compared to the skirt length? I assume it has to be shorter, since the poufing will effectively shorten the skirt, but I don't know if that's really true, or how MUCH shorter they should be . . . any advice?
