It may surprise many of you that when I do photo shoots I tend to steer clear of modeling anything too vintage or pin-up inspired. I wanted to avoid the problem of being type cast as a pin-up model for the rest of my would-be career. I do want to expand to have some cheesecake-ish vintage flair portraits in my portfolio, but for now I am trying to hit all areas of modeling. Especially with clothing designers and websites! Ahhh, a girl can dream right?
Well, anyway the other day I went on a shoot with Michael Jones. It was your basic white backdrop studio shoot, which is insanely hard to model. There is nothing more foreign than trying to pose with nothing but white all around you. I guess its something I will need to work on.
I am hoping that by the end of summer I will get to work with a few more awesome photographers and maybe have enough courage under my belt to ask more designers if I can shoot in their stuff.
OK, wow, this blog got way off track, I really only wanted to share the pictures from last week.
So here they are in vivid technicolor.

Wow, those are really great and vintage-y! I absolutely adore your green top and pearls!
The green top! I am pea-green with envy, it is so pretty. =)
I'm with the other two gals. Photo #2 is fabulous.
well I think you have that vintage look! & it is VERY STUNNING, might I add :)
You look as amazing as usual! As a side note: I always laughed my way through the model tv shows thinking to myself, 'how hard can it be to smile and look pretty?'. Now that I am taking more photos of myself it is like IMPOSSIBLE not to look like a total tool. You make it look so easy. Awesome.
Thanks guys.. the green top is actually a dress with a big ole bow on the butt! its my favorite piece in my closet!!!
Gorgeous photos!
Loved the green dress of course,
but you are seriously rockin' that
first shot!
Gorgeous shots, both are stunning!
Too lovely for words! That second photo in particular looks like it could have been plucked from the perpetually chic pages of a mid-century fashion magazine.
Have a beautiful weekend, hon!

Those are beautiful! I like the last one especially - your hair looks perfect and the dress is such a nice colour. Your bird tattoos are also really cute!
Awesome hair!
