Anchors Away!

I have been waiting impatiently for about 2 years now for my mother-in-law to give my husband a box of dishes that belong to him. They have been in her attic for a long time, and we finally received them this week and I could not be happier!

The dishes I refer to are US Navy issue dinnerware. A fun fact on these pieces are that they were only made from late 1800s until the 1960s. Many of the pieces I now have in my house are WW2 issues, and some even older than that!

I know if you don't collect old dishes this may mean nothing to you, but I was so excited to wash them up and rearrange my cupboard to make them all fit!
