Always Dreaming

Somehow every Christmas I have a gift voucher for Sock Dreams bestowed upon me. This year I had my pick of some cozy warm socks, of which I ordered a pair in pink. But the winning pick was the Fleur De Lis tights, which are now my go-to leg wear. I hardly own an outfit I can not pair with these tights.

I have amassed quite an arsenal of sock dreams socks, stockings, and tights but still can't wait to see what next Christmas brings me in voucher form!

My shoes were a lovely christmas present as well, the leopard print platforms are by Bordello!

Sunday Stripes

My weekend has been spent in petticoats and spectacular stockings. I am such a sucker for unusual leg-wear, I can't pass it up. The husband was kind enough to buy me a pair of vertical stripe stockings, and I wish I could live in them, they are too much fun!
Here is a view of my weekend attire, stockings included of course.
Outfit details include a red 40s suit jacket, 50s black velvet skirt, 50s white petticoat, vertical stripe stockings, and modern shoes with a vintage flair. Everything about my outfit, except the stockings is 100% thrifted. I am such a Frugal Frannie, I love to save money and wear old clothes.

Baby, it's Cold Outside..

Fall is a short lived season here in the Pacific Northwest. We have an exceptionally long winter (translation= 7 months of heavy rain) that calls for warm clothing, rain boots, and umbrellas.
I refuse to give up my skirts and dresses in the "winters" of Washington. Because of this, I was so ecstatic to find the website Sock Dreams 2 years ago. Since then I have regularly ordered various, OTK Socks, Thigh Highs, and Tights.
I have them in several shades of green, black, and grey. I have various kinds, from nylon, to cotton, to wool blends. This is the best website for warm winter leg wear ever!
