Get Yer Make-Up Did

I am thinking that is on par with the WORST title I have ever had for a blog post, though I am sure there are others equally as ridiculous. But let's get to the point. Lime Crime run by Doe Deere, hit 35,000 fans on facebook this month. To celebrate they offering 35% off of the entire line for 24 hours only. It goes live NOW til MIDNIGHT tomorrow night! You must follow Lime Crime on here on facebook as part of the deal. The code is 'FBLOVE35' and there are so many amazing shades to pick from.
I am picking up some RetroFuturist red lipstick to see how it stacks up against Mac's Ruby Woo.

So support a fellow blogger and young entrepreneur, and check out the sale. 35% is a big discount for such a small line, so I would take advantage of it!

It's My Party

This year, in 5 days, I am going to be 25 years old. If you know anything about me, you know that birthdays are my favorite thing.. ever. I had grandiose plans of a spectacular quarter century party, but alas... unfortunate life events and severe bouts of depression have led me to cancel entirely. I think this will be the first year ever I do absolutely nothing to celebrate my birthday. I guess on the bright side this gives me a year to plan for the lesser important '26' shindig.

If you follow my facebook you know I was planning a birthday Prom for my party. I had a dress and all. A fabulous 50s party frock, fit for a birthday queen. Are you a birthday queen? Well then, have at my dress! It's here and ripe for the picking via my Etsy Shop!
Doesn't it look like a poofy dream? Get your self a Tiara and paint the town purple! I hope my party dress finds a fabulous home, and gets the loving it so desperately needs.

Also, check back tomorrow as I have some info on a very special sale from Lime Crime!!!

Photoshoots and 40% OFF Sales.

Last week I had the chance to model for a local photographer in my vintage attire, in my vintage kitchen. I shot with Mr. T PDX and am super pleased with the little teaser shot I was given. More are on the way, but this is one of my absolute favorites.
The idea behind this shot was a housewife on break and drinkin' it up a bit before the husband comes home. I think it turned out just peachy.

On another note, I am having a clearance sale in my etsy shop, to celebrate my new house and new photo backdrop. The sale section is here, and prices are marked down 40%.

The 30s stripe blouse and 50s shirtwaist dress are included in the sale, as well as many other items. So do feel free to pop over and see if there is anything you need.

Make Your Face Up

A darling friend of mine, Alicia is a Make-up Artist. She has done my face in all of the Vorpal Images shoots I have done. She has a crazy encyclopedia type brain when it comes to things make-up related and she sent me this today:

She says this is a major deal. So if you are in need of make-up I highly recommend it. She always uses Lorac on me when we do our shoots, and it looks AMAZING. Plus, this stuff is usually insanely expensive, so I am pretty excited for this deal. To get to the Lorac Jet Setter Collection, CLICK HERE!

The MotherLoad Sale

I went to a sale today. I have been on the waiting list to get in this for days. I didn't not want to jinx my luck so I did not mention it. It was worth freezing my bottom side right off waiting to get in.

Some how the email list got messed up and I didnt get called, so I had to wait to get in...
Which made me end up behind a pack of girls who are from another vintage store in the town just south of here.
These girls grabbed everything, in a clear take no prisoners, show no mercy fashion.
They left hardly anything in their wake.

I did manage to score a bit and have been measuring it all night now.
I found the most darling late 30s early 40s dress with a tie neck in a novelty heart print (pix to come!!!) for only $10. I think that dress would feel most comfortable in my closet.
I got a small stack of mid-fifty's dresses as well as some darling shoes.

I wish I would have got more, and I brought a bank roll to supply much more. But I am happy with my score and you will likely see it all soon on ETSY.
For now I need to go bake cakes for my daughters 1st birthday so I leave you with my favorite score of the day
Brown DeLiso Debs! DARLING!
