Of Crinolines and Children...

A few weeks back my darling sister-in-law-ish-person Sharon Svec asked me to model for a website she was building for an electric bike company called Pedal In Power Out. My part in the shoot, was being a lady at home getting her groceries delivered on the electric bike. That photo is live on the website I believe. My kids refused to participate during the actual shoot but the photographer Kelly Goode of Capture Photography caught a lot of fun shots before we had to move on to the next location.

Kelly even blogged about the shoot with some more images of me (and my legs?) over here at her blog, Cameras and Light. Everyone who worked on this project was super sweet, and at the end we shared some pizza, beers, and apple juice for the kids. I am happy I got to have a little fun and take part in this, plus I get to have these amazing photo memories of the tiny's and Me.
Thanks to everyone who was involved and if I missed any links, let me know so I cant make that happen.

Dismantled Fashions, and Me.

I am excited to share my pictures from Vorpal Images for Dismantled Fashions. I had so much fun doing a retro style shoot, where I could be...myself. Normally when I model I steer clear of vintage and retro styled shooting, but I realize now how much I love just being me.
I had fun playing around with my my vintage accessories and styling it with Dismantled Fashions. I hope you like them I am in love!

You can click to enlarge to see the full view on any of those images.

To give credit where credit is due, the dress and bolero are by Dismantled Fashions.
The clutch wallet is by Trophy Queen.
The Hair clip is by Lucky Cupcake Hairclips.
The red sweater is mine, and the sweet shades are mine, purchased from Bombshell Bettie's.

The Exquisite Photo Studio and Home Office

I may have mentioned when we moved here that I had to struggle to find a space to shoot photos for my Etsy Shop. I also had the problem of storing all the frocks, hats, and shoes. Well, I present to you lovely readers, my workspace:

My storing closet belongs to my 2 year old daughter. She has a wardrobe in her bedroom, so she does not need this closet. It's now full to the brim with old clothes and shipping supplies. I also do my photography in her room as she gets the best light in the whole house. She does not seem to mind, as the kids play in the other (bigger) bedroom down the hall filled with toys.
So what does it look like in the bedroom when I am not using it to shoot pictures?
I know, I know... I live a super glamorous life! All joking aside, this is my work space. This is where all the Exquisite Bones magic is made. And for the record, that yellow dress is for sale right here!
