Tip Top

For some time, I have contemplated wearing hats. But not just wearing hats, wearing them, daily.
It's a style I wanted to bring back with a bang to my sleepy little town.
Recently, I met a girl who beat me to the punch. *HI S!*
This girl makes the chapeau shine in all its glory. I can't help but say, "YES! I will wear a hat. I can have that confidence!"

So as I contemplate my outfit for Mass tomorrow morning, I am arranging it around my hat.
I hit the web for some "hat porn" for some serious reinforcement.
Whilst whittling away webpages with my google-fu, I came across an Etsy seller, I had saved as a favorite eons ago.
The seller is KissCurl in case you are on the hunt for a ridiculously radiant hat with a classy vintage flair.

This military style hat has had my heart since first gaze.
It's among the many, many things I have in my vintage wishlist Just waiting for the lucky day I can click "Buy It"

For the love of day-wear

I often have a couture imagination when it comes to vintage clothing. I oogle lavish dresses and tend to ignore the wardrobe basics.
The problem is, I have no cocktail parties to attend, no gala events, no silent auction dinners, so I need not own a $300 Ceil Chapman frock.

To combat this I have been making it a point to only invest in day-wear and wardrobe necessities. Today while I was visiting at The Urban Eccentric, I nabbed this wonderful little blouse. It has grey and red roses on it. The blouse matches perfectly with my red and grey hat that I picked up there on another recent trip.

I cant explain to you how lucky I am to have a local Vintage shop that is as amazing as the Urban Eccentric is. You can get the best deals in little vintage shops, and no shipping to boot!
