It's My Party

This year, in 5 days, I am going to be 25 years old. If you know anything about me, you know that birthdays are my favorite thing.. ever. I had grandiose plans of a spectacular quarter century party, but alas... unfortunate life events and severe bouts of depression have led me to cancel entirely. I think this will be the first year ever I do absolutely nothing to celebrate my birthday. I guess on the bright side this gives me a year to plan for the lesser important '26' shindig.

If you follow my facebook you know I was planning a birthday Prom for my party. I had a dress and all. A fabulous 50s party frock, fit for a birthday queen. Are you a birthday queen? Well then, have at my dress! It's here and ripe for the picking via my Etsy Shop!
Doesn't it look like a poofy dream? Get your self a Tiara and paint the town purple! I hope my party dress finds a fabulous home, and gets the loving it so desperately needs.

Also, check back tomorrow as I have some info on a very special sale from Lime Crime!!!

Happy Birthday! Sorry to hear you had to cancel your plans but I kinda like birthdays where you have nothing planned but do with the flow & don't have any commitments, you can dress up and just 'be'! Mind you I'm quite a bit older than you and have had quite a lot of over the top party nights!

that dress is divine!Sorry you got a case of the blues. If it makes you feel better 25 is considered the age of reason so your brain has reached maturity so um...yeah for that?

I'm 33 and have never made a fuss of my birthday. I don't mind getting older, in fact I quite like it! I just don't like the fuss. Have a nice relaxing birthday :))

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's a shame you're not having your party because that dress is fabulous! But we share the same birthday so I'll be sure to have a drink for you too ;)

I hope this email finds you well. It is hard to cancel something that you love so much. Try to smile and keep your chin up.

Oh honey, I understand. I tried to plan a big party last year. Every "real" friend I had didn't come. Or even rsvp. They went to mexico days after and that was the reason I got ignored I think. To busy getting ready for their fun time away. The only people that called were the ones I had not seen since high school. How is that for depressing? At least they still love me! Guess who does not follow my blog? That's right. My best friends. I'm not trying to turn this into a pity party for me, I'm just saying, hang in there. Sometimes birthdays suck ass, but you will have another one, another year to make up for it :)

Happy early Birthday! Does that make you the 4th or 5th of July? (my birthday is the 4th). I truly hope that you do end up doing something wonderful for your 25th- got to celebrate a quarter of a century! (I'm going to be 37.....aaaaargh! You're such a gorgeous spring chicken compared to me lol ;) ).

Are you nuts? Keep the dress and wear it another time, possibly for another birthday. You're perfectly entitled to entitled to having a low-key birthday but you absolutely must have a "cake-cutting moment", as my aunt likes to call it.
