Wrapped in Love

Yesterday when the mail arrived a special package for me was included in the pile of bills. It was my accidental SWIRL. I was browsing Etsy the other night, and came across this "Apron" that looked quite a bit like our familiar friend, the Swirl! I messaged the buyer about the apron, and sure enough, she said it came with a Swirl label inside, of course I then bought it instantly, as the price for a vintage "apron" was unbeatable!!
I think its a late 50s, early 60s Swirl based on color scheme and length. It was missing the button, but that was an easy fix. I wore it to visit the Fella for lunch at his work at the industrial yards.
It is so comfy and perfect for housework, tending to children, then heading out to the city to pick up lunch! As others have said before, I love my Swirl!

That's fantastic! I'm quite jealous. Hmm, I wonder if there are any more mislabeled aprons. ;) Haha.

I love that it's calico printed. Very cute little "get around" dress, Twila!

wow, I just realized I've totally HAD a swirl dress before. Its construction is quite bizarre but it fits like a dream! I still have pics of it. It had the orig tags on it...I'm sad I let it go because it was sooo cute!

I love the colors on yours...don't you just love getting a good deal!?
