Giving Thanks.. Or Just Giving

This time of year is so fun, festive, and bountiful for so many of us, that I think many of us forget the people out there who dread this time of year. For some people, there is not enough money to put a decent dinner on the table for Thanksgiving, or Christmas for that matter. I think this is a great time for us Vintage Lovers to unite, and give anything we can to people who need it more than us.

If you are in the Portland, OR area the Driven Dead Car Club is holding a drive for Thanksgiving foodie bits! I am sure as heck going to be there with a grocery bag in arms, and hope that many more local hot rodders, vintagettes, and average joe's will be there too!

If your Fella is in a car club, why not try and help organize a drive? Organize your local vintage friends, and pin-ups to go around collecting food for the Food Bank. Even if its only you sending one can of green beans to a charity collection, its helping someone in need, giving them a special holiday they might not have had if you didn't give a little.
