Fall is a short lived season here in the Pacific Northwest. We have an exceptionally long winter (translation= 7 months of heavy rain) that calls for warm clothing, rain boots, and umbrellas.
I refuse to give up my skirts and dresses in the "winters" of Washington. Because of this, I was so ecstatic to find the website Sock Dreams 2 years ago. Since then I have regularly ordered various, OTK Socks, Thigh Highs, and Tights.
I have them in several shades of green, black, and grey. I have various kinds, from nylon, to cotton, to wool blends. This is the best website for warm winter leg wear ever!

Oh my goodness, thank you Twila Jean! I've been feelin a bit frustrated with the minimal selection of tights and such here in the Taco-Mama area. I will definetly be checking out this link and adding it to my favorites.

I don't envy you! Summer is finally creeping over to our side of the world (New Zealand) and after months and months of cold and rain I absolutely can't wait! Those tights look cute.
