twenty plus six

My posts are going to be all out of order for a bit, but I couldn't help but bring my birthday to the front of the queue. I have just got back from celebrating the best birthday I have ever experienced in my life.
Toma secretly planned and schemed so many exciting things throughout the day, and had me guessing until the very end. Breakfast with the family, followed by an early afternoon showing of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter (Which I feel almost needs its own post because it was so amazingly terrible/awesome/undeniable).
After killing a few hours and eating southern style dinner at Miss Delta, I was blindly taken to the Secret Society, where a group of my nearest and dearest were waiting for me. I never had a clue. All of the best people in my life were there to have fancy cocktails and wish me well on my 26th year of life.





I wore a fabulous late 50s bright yellow chiffon dress, and that amazing Tiara. I picked that head piece up at a yard sale for $3! Money well spent to be a princess for the night. I drank Manhattans poured by the worlds most gorgeous burlesque dancer ever Charlotte Truese.
At 10 pm, the servers walked in with a glass of champagne for everyone. Each person went around the room toasting my birthday... Well, everyone but my best friend Solanah, who is too cool to toast.
