The Day of Mothers

So, Like usual I am late to blog about a holiday. I guess maybe its because I don't really do much on Mother's Day, being that I work it every year, and the kids are with their dad. I did take them to breakfast, but they are too young to understand or care what mothers day is, so I promptly returned them to their father to play and ride bikes in the sun while I ventured off to work. I think Mother's Day might have been the hardest transition in my divorce. So I guess I try not to think about it much. I did however stop off at our studio to get a few pictures of the kids before sending them on their way.

My dress is the one I made from a 1957 McCall's pattern, which now reminds me... I need to make another one! I love this dress so much.

Wow, your son has grown. Adorbs.

Does your boy's tattoo say "protect"? I'd love to see a post with all of your tattoos and the stories behind them. P'rhaps his too.
