I feel so incredibly honored that I was invited to model for Meghann Gilligan's Tin Gypsy Project this week. Meghann travels the Pacific Northwest in her mobile darkroom made from an early 60s travel trailer shooting Tin Type photography with large format cameras. I brought along the baby, my 60s baby pram, and some of my most "victorian" looking articles of clothing and headed to the waterfront. I also got to wear a fabulous moss corset made by portland artist Francesca Berrini. It was a slow process, but well worth it, as the images art haunting. I hope to collaborate with Meghann again in the near future.

Oh my, these are amazing! I love tin type...and you look stunning, a perfect fit, you + tin type. And the moss corset, very cool. Thanks for sharing!

How beautiful! I love the last one especially.
Awesome photos. And I love this baby pram, looks cool.
Totally old school! I use one of the earliest photographic processes and mix all of my own photographic emulsions and developer by hand using the same method as was used in the 19th Century. It was wonderful to work with you Mishalla- looking forward to doing it again very soon <3
Best,
Meghann

Just gorgeous....fantastic shots :)
Stunning photos!
They look great! I've made tin types, and I can definitely attest to the 'slow process' part. So worth it though! How big were her plates?
Beautiful photos. They look really authentic and old.
This is beyond awesome... the images are wonderfully eerie.
