In the Jailhouse Now

This weekend I got to see a very fantabulous production of O Brother Where Art Thou? The
show was put on the by the Space Art Collective of Vancouver, WA and was entirely made up of marionette puppets. The soundtrack was played entirely by a live band in the loft of the building. The whole showing was hilarious, and the actors were quite quick with their improvisational wit.
I am sad to say the show has finished its run, but look forward to the next show they choose to adapt to puppetry.

I forgot all about taking my outfit picture that night, so this is the only image I have of me. Jesse took a picture of me trying not to fall to my death in the loft/catwalk area where the puppeteers did their magic.

I got this short video of the band playing so you can hear how amazing it was. The men and women who performed the soundtrack were truly amazing, and it was a night well spent. Glad I can say I got to see it!

Oh, I would have loved to have seen this! It's an amazing movie, and the photos you took makes it seem like a very creative production. Jealous!

We went to Vanc Pizza Sat night (yummy Gluten-free pizza there btw) and I saw there were a bunch of people at SAC and wondered what was going on. I love that movie.. would have been great to see a puppet version! Will have to keep my eye out for more events.
