Today was a day of vintage hunting with Solanah. This has become a sort of weekly ritual, and we have a grandiose time being silly old ladies sorting through old dresses. Today was a bit different, as we had to bring the two tiny metropolitan kidlets. If you are a parent you know, its nearly impossible to take children to thrift stores, vintage shops, or antique malls. The kids did ok, and we did quite well. I found a great deal of cool stuff that I listed in my Etsy Shop, like a 30s evening dress and a darling 50s dress by Mode-O-Day!
I also got this wonderful skirt that is not even close to making it to my shop, its ALL MINE! Sorry ladies.
All in all it was a wonderful day, until I locked myself and my kids out of the house! I am a metropolitan air-brain.
So now I am off to mellow out and drink wine in my 30s nightgown I got from CheepVintage ages ago, and watch Bonnie and Clyde. Bon Soir!
