As the closing of my Boutique draws near, I have found myself fretting over my new unemployed status. The job market is bleak here, to say the least. On a positive note, I will have much more free time. In this free time, I have many plans unfolding. I am hoping my Etsy Shop will help support me whilst I am job-free. This will give me the ability to finish planning an amazing idea for ladies of the Pacific Northwest. Stay tuned, as I will be unveiling more soon!
Among other topics in the Metropolitan world, I got to shoot with my favorite photographic team again, Vorpal Images! This time we did a shoot for EfiaFair's darling spats and mittens! I wore my own blue dress, and Yellow 30s topper hat! I even brought along my favorite new umbrella. I think the shoot turned out kind of neat and almost "steampunk" esque. Here is the first shot I have gotten back so far:

You look beautiful x
Beautiful photo. Love the hat.
I am sure your Etsy shop will continue to bring in revinue while you search for a job. And even though I dont live in the PNW, I am excited to hear about your idea.
Thanks doll,
The Glamorous Housewife
That dress is so pretty and you look absolutely gorgeous!!!
LOVE the photo!!!
Doll, I especially love that gorgeous blue color!
I'm quite fond of all shades of blue myself. I find it so feminine, and of course, it's Lou's favorite color on me, teal blue, I mean!
What a lovely photo!
It's a pity about your shop closing down. I've only recently begun reading your blog. I wish I had stumbled upon it sooner, so I could have added your shop to the list for nudging my boyfriend towards a Vancouver/Portland trip.
Looooooove this!
I gasped and said "oh no!" when I read about your suit. I'm sure it will be fine, at least it's red!
I know times are tuff in the US right now - here´s wishing you all the best on your new job hunt ! And you look fab in that outfit ( and thanks to retro modern houswife I now know what steampunk is ! ,)
You look beautiful as always, keep me posted on your new idea for ladies of the Pacific NW, I have extra time on my hands because am newly unemployed also. The best of luck with your Etsy shop.
Beautiful pic with them, I think my favourite one so far!
Good luck with the new work :) I am also now very differently employed since just last month, and so far the anxious-ness has been made worthwhile by the free time!
What a fantastic photo, it's so dreamy and feminine. Your dress and that parasol~~you look gorgeous!

This is truly a beautiful photograph. The lighting is fantastic and I love the look. I'm sorry to hear about your shop--I just tuned in today for the first time but I enjoyed what I read. Wish you much continued success.
