Another Busy weekend has left me, and we are darn near another. The summer is booked entirely for me. I wish I had more time to blog and share all the wonderful things I have seen this summer. Like the darling wedding of Solanah and Sam! Which was darling and 50s style in a huge old victorian era home.
After Solanah's wedding there was a "first annual" cruise-in smack in the middle of downtown. We went to scope it out thinking it would be a bust. Were we ever wrong! The cruise was quite crudely called, "The Gut" and was chock full of hot rods, projects, and lovely people on the side of the street waving! There were more people jammed in downtown Vancouver than I have ever seen gathered in our little town. Main street was alive with excitement. We met up with my father-in-law who drives the lovely green "Franklin-Stein" and with Mother-in-law in tow we jumped in for a ride. The kids had a blast and waved and cheered to all the on-lookers. Solanah happened to be walking down the street, and offered to take some pictures of us in the hot rod cruising "The Gut" for you to enjoy.
