I went to a sale today. I have been on the waiting list to get in this for days. I didn't not want to jinx my luck so I did not mention it. It was worth freezing my bottom side right off waiting to get in.
Some how the email list got messed up and I didnt get called, so I had to wait to get in...
Which made me end up behind a pack of girls who are from another vintage store in the town just south of here.
These girls grabbed everything, in a clear take no prisoners, show no mercy fashion.
They left hardly anything in their wake.
I did manage to score a bit and have been measuring it all night now.
I found the most darling late 30s early 40s dress with a tie neck in a novelty heart print (pix to come!!!) for only $10. I think that dress would feel most comfortable in my closet.
I got a small stack of mid-fifty's dresses as well as some darling shoes.
I wish I would have got more, and I brought a bank roll to supply much more. But I am happy with my score and you will likely see it all soon on ETSY.
For now I need to go bake cakes for my daughters 1st birthday so I leave you with my favorite score of the day
