We are in the process of buying a home. We are shopping for an older home, particularly pre-1950.
I adore, love, cherish, and treasure OLD homes. Sadly, here in the pacific northwest, our homes are not all that old. The oldest in our area was built somewhere around 1880.
None the less, we are on the hunt for the perfect old house to call our own. So, of course, I am window shopping for great things to adorn my home with.
Here in Portland, we have this wonderful amazing store called "Rejuvenation" which for 3 decades has specialized in reproducing old home fixtures. They have some of the most amazing things ever.
I see this in my bathroom:
This is the "Hollywood" Ceiling Lamp.
How gorgeous.
Now, to buy from Rejuvenation
you will need to be comfortable spending
a pretty penny.
This darling lighting piece retails for
$389
But you can customize almost anything about this wonderful work of art!
If you splurge on one thing for your house, something from Rejuvenation should be it!
They have many items from many eras 1800s-1950s and some of their stuff is very reasonable.
Ok, I am going back to window shopping now.

Rejuvenation is fabulous. I especially love the vintage and antique pieces on their website. One day I'll make it to the store in person.
I LOVE the art deco corks they have. SO pretty.
Oh thats ok about the pink dress, I'm actually kind of excited about making one. Now I just have to actually follow through with it :)
Green vintage slingbacks!? oooo, I wish I had seen them. There's a couple pairs of red on Etsy I have my eyes on, but am so reluctant to buy shoes online.
And yes, I saw them and went "EEEEE!". I'll see how much I have left from the antique show if any, because they are so adorable.
