Wiggle Worm

Today, was my thrift-o-rama day.
I packed up at 8 am and headed north on the interstate, Husband and Baby M in tow.
Downtown had some awesome thrift, though not much in the way of affordable vintage. I found a few etsy worthy items, and a few things to keep. One shop was having a sale of sorts, ALL clothes were $1.00!!

After leaving thrift alley, we headed to a small "vintage" shop, that turned out to be a bust.
The shop is like a carbon copy, deco wise, of the local shop here in town I frequent. Down to matching lamps and paint. It was very unusual. They had almost NOTHING older than 1965 in the shop, so I did not make a purchase.

We stopped at a little place in Longview, WA called "Judy's" for lunch. Expensive, but if you are in the area, eat there, its mouth-watering delicious, in a weird old 50s diner. fantastic.
The town of Longview, is note worthy also, in the fact that the main drag is like a time warp. I have always loved it up there, but today it just caught all the strings of my heart. It is so art deco and all of the old buildings are still there. I think we may reconsider buying our house up there again, I loved it there.

Last stop, Kalama, aka Antique hell. Seriously, this town has like 15 Antique stores in a 2 block radius, which sounds cool in theory, but the prices are all mighty steep. The only price not steep..
The dress I nabbed that was hiding in a back corner. I looked at the tag, and shook with excitement over the price.
I wish I could keep it, but bills be calling, so to etsy she heads. Look at this darling thing:

All in all the food, and this dress made the trip totally worth it. Well, also the amazing arcitechture.

Sounds like you had a great time, and Judys sounds fantastic, I'll keep it in mind.
